Don't Cross our Picket Line
We are out on the line, you can read our picket signs.
We’re on strike against this company.
We’re engaged in a fight to secure our basic rights
Living wages and dignity.
CHORUS: Don’t cross our picket line,
Stand with us in solidarity,
For without your support,
We are bound to fall short,
But together we can win the victory.
There is only one way working folks can have a say,
And the means to improve our daily lives.
Only in unity can we win equity.
We need a strong union to survive.
CHORUS
If we’re not unified, they will conquer and divide,
And they’ll sit back and watch as we bleed,
But if we stand as one, we will have them on the run,
And they’ll find a way to give us what we need.
CHORUS
All we want is our share and to be treated fair.
All we ask for is what we deserve,
But if you cross our line, our cause you’ll undermine,
And our adversary’s interest you’ll serve.
CHORUS
So please don’t go in and commit the cardinal sin
Of working as a strikebreaking scab.
When you side with the boss, every worker pays the cost,
And in the end it’s your own back you stab.
CHORUS (x2)
